Geoff and John Wetton are in rehearsals with John Mitchell and Steve Christey this week for the forthcoming Japanese concert dates starting October 24th. Check out the dates below!

A press release on the Frontiers website gives a few details into the recording process behind the forthcoming "Rubicon" album. Just a reminder that this new ICON album is to be released in Japan on October 25th (Marquee label), Europe on November 10th (Frontiers) and November 16th in the US (Renaissance).

Also, with the Japanese ICON dates coming up this month, links to the venues for the shows can be found below. Due to demand, the band will be playing two shows per night at each venue. On the websites for the Blue Note venues, simply scroll down to the date of the gig for details.

Geoff dropped us a line to pass along his sincere thanks to everyone for their support thus far on the reunion tour. He said that the crowds have been absolutely amazing, with sold out shows and great ticket sales beyond their expectations. And he wanted to say thanks as well to everyone who stopped by after the shows to say "Hi" when he was signing at the merchandise table. There is no guarantee of doing this at all shows, but he hopes to see as many people as possible.

If you have an upcoming show in your area, be sure to bring along family and friends. It is a great evening of entertainment.

The shows will feature John Mitchell and Steve Christey on guitar and drums. These dates coincide with the release of the 2nd ICON studio album, "Rubicon," which was recorded in June/July of this year. Check back soon for venue details.

We can also confirm that the ICON live album, "Never In A Million Years," will be released in Japan on September 21 through Marquee and in the USA on Oct.5 through Renaissance Records. The 2nd ICON album, "Rubicon," will be released in Japan on Oct.25. For European releases, see news item below.

Frontiers Records has announced a European release date of October 20th for "ICON Live: Never in a Million Years". For a cover image, sound bytes and details, check out some of their news on the releases here and here . The second ICON studio album, "Rubicon", is scheduled for release on November 10. We should have release dates for Japan and North America shortly.

Also, this week marks the beginning of rehearsals for the Asia reunion tour. Geoff, Carl Palmer, Steve Howe and John Wetton are together playing for the first time in 23 years as we write this. We hope to have more details as rehearsals progress over the next few weeks. 

A quick note to let you know that Geoff and John Wetton are presently in the studio working on the follow-up to their incredibly popular "ICON" album. More details are expected shortly.

We are pleased to share a demo version of "We Move As One," (6.1MB MP3) which will appear on the upcoming "ICON Live" album. This version, from the 2006 UK tour, was the first time that John and Geoff had played it live.

Wetton and Downes wrote this for Abba's Agnetha Fältskog.  It was released on her widely acclaimed 1985 solo album, "Eyes of a Woman," produced by Eric Stewart.
