"Notes From The Edge" has posted an interview with Geoff and Alan White. From the site:
When it was clear that the More Drama tour was in jeopardy it was apparent that this conversation's posting on NFTE would be too. Prior to that Alan and Geoff consented to discuss their involvement in the band White and its participation in that tour--which included Chris Squire with Syn and Steve Howe performing solo--and both were eager to get that tour started. However as we all know the tour was cancelled due to visa problems for the the members and crew who were trying to get out of the UK.
Whether the More Drama tour will reemerge still remains to be seen. Nevertheless Alan and Geoff's discussion about that tour was interesting from a historical perspective. Furthermore the discussion of White and the DRAMA days were compelling enough to warrant posting this interview, and Alan advised he also would like to see it appear, so here it is.

Geoff To Team Up With White And YES Members |
|
Tuesday, 26 April 2005 |
After the dates with Asia are completed over the coming months, Geoff
is proud to announce that he will be teaming up with Yes drummer Alan
White in his new band, "White", for both touring and recording. "I've
already been up to Seattle and put some keyboards down on White's debut
album, and what they're doing sounds really fantastic. They're a great
bunch of guys, too." Rounding out the band are Steve Boyce, Karl Haug
and Kevin Curry.
Previously, Downes and White had worked together twenty-five years ago
on the Yes album "Drama", which also featured Steve Howe, Chris Squire
and Geoff's former Buggles bandmate Trevor Horn. This Drama line-up, as
Geoff recalls, was briefly re-united together with Trevor Rabin at the
Wembley Prince's Trust show back in November 2004. " This was a great
event, and thoroughly enjoyed by all who participated. A magnificent
tribute to my old buddy, Trevor Horn."
"White" will kick off with The Syn (featuring Chris Squire), and Steve
Howe (acoustic) for a series of shows starting in the summer in the US,
and moving onto Europe later in the year. As a special feature in these
unique events, Geoff indicates that it is planned for the Yesmen past
and present to join forces at the end of each show, and perform a
number of Yes songs together. "The exciting prospect will be playing
some of the Drama album again live. I'm sure Yes fans everywhere will
appreciate the opportunity to hear and see this. I'm really looking
forward to it, particularly working with Alan, Steve & Chris again.
It's going to be a blast!"
